Military Information for the
History of Hartford, Michigan website.

For  YOU, father, mother, brother, sister, grandfather-mother, gr-grandfather-mother, aunt, uncle, cousin….
anyone who has ever lived in Hartford or Keeler at anytime during their lifetime.

To enter military information from this website:

If you served in the military, or know of a friend or relative who did, and lived in the Hartford-Keeler area at any time (length of service – wounded, killed in action or not, doesn’t make a difference for submission to the website…still want the information) and your name is not shown on this site, following these instructions and a profile will be added.

      1.  Complete the Military On-Line Entry form below.
      2.  Then, send a photo in uniform from within an email or as an attachment to the webmaster (save in .jpg or .jpeg file format at 75 dpi resolution).  If you have problems sending or don’t quite understand how to email photos, email the webmaster and I will try to walk you through the process…it really isn’t hard to do.

The information and photo will be proudly displayed with the other military personnel to whom we are so deeply indebted.  For those who do not have email, please contact Emma Sefcik, (269) 621-4349.  If you have a photo to be scanned for inclusion to this site, but don’t have a scanner,  let me know, I will be happy to meet with you if in the local area.

     Email address
or phone numbers submitted on this form are used for the sole purpose of correcting incomplete information submitted for the military portion of this website.  This Information will NOT be sold or distributed to outside organizations in any manner whatsoever.  Military information submitted here may be used for future publications by the webmaster (book, CDs, calendars, etc.) that would be made available through this website.  Unauthorized commercial reprinting of this information is strictly prohibited without written permission from the

(Need a photo in uniform with or without spouse. If none is available, any photo about that time would work fine…if none, then a current photo is okay.  If you have a scanner, save the file in .jpg file format. Don’t worry about editing – that can be done after it is emailed.  If you do NOT have a scanner, and live in the local area, please contact the webmaster and I can scan it for you. Photos are scanned with NO damage to originals. The original photo is laid flat on the glass of a flatbed scanner – much like the same process of a copy machine.  If photos are not in good shape, the scanned copy can usually be edited and restored with NO changes ever made to the original.  Send photos via email to the webmaster.
