Persian Gulf War-Desert Storm. Grandfather, Clare H. Beam, served during WW11.  His ggreat grandfather, John Jordan Beam, served during the Civil War.  his grandfather, Clare Herbert Beam, served during WW11 and his great great grandfather, John Jordan Beam, served during the Civil War.
